To keep you updated...

I have some news for you regarding what's next with this game. 

I officially changed the status of the demo from "prototype" to "in development" because I started working on the first chapter! 

Unfortunately I can't give you a release date for several reasons. First, because it's the first time ever that I'm working on something like this therefore I'm bad at predicting how long it's going to take. And as you know I am doing this on my own and it's all depending on the free time I get outside of my studies. But I can tell you that I've been actively working on it for the past couple of weeks. I'm taking this one step at a time, that's what usually works for me!

However, for lack of a better answer, I thought I could give you a sneak peek of Chapter 1 (without spoilers of course)! 

I have updated the page with the final design of the new characters and love interests that you WILL meet in Chapter 1: 

The Art

I have been actively drawing new backgrounds, new CGs and new Sprites. I'm also probably going to improve one or some of the backgrounds that you can see in the demo. You will know if I did before the release of the first chapter. In the meantime, here is one of the new backgrounds of Chapter 1 : 

The Writing

I am aware that this is the weakest point of my game. I have been watching and reading advice on how to better write a story, especially in English, and I will practice to improve my style. I'm really passionate about this so I will do my best to avoid mistakes and weird phrasing in the future. I have not yet written the complete text of Chapter 1  (only an outline) so I can't give you a number of words at the moment.

The Programming 

I am still very new to renpy. Therefore, the mechanics of the game will stay very simple, as you can see in the demo. If I manage to learn more and make it works I will, but as this is the first visual novel I'm making, I'd rather keep it simple, I hope you understand.
